Future Olympians? Who is that underwater torpedo?

As part of our Physical Education programme the students are participating in swimming lessons at the Kapiti Aquatic Centre. They’re being taught by qualified instructors, whose aim is to develop confidence in the water and the development of stroke technique. These are valuable lessons, because as an island nation we are surrounded by water. Could we be nurturing a future Olympic swimmer? I certainly hope so.

I have really enjoyed watch you all learning to improve your swimming. Especially those learning to tumble turn this morning. Remember to keep stream lining and lift up your core when in the water.
