Students in my classroom have a daily test on quick-fire mathematics basic facts questions. There are 8 levels in the school’s basic facts programme, each increasing in difficulty. To get promoted to the next level you have to pass level 1 once, level 2 twice, level 3 three times and so on. Each level has a set time in which you have to pass it. This week’s successful basic facts students are Aroura and Corey.
